Summary

This teaching position is a perfect fit for someone who is a nurturing mother and appreciates a great education, a college student studying early childhood education, or a person who wants a great family environment. A high-energy person who likes to engage with children and teach them new concepts is ideal. Perform duties that are instructional in nature or deliver direct services to students or parents. Serve in a position for which a teacher has ultimate responsibility for the design and implementation of educational programs and services.

Duties

  • Help plan age appropriate activities for children in the class
  • Maintain a clean, safe environment
  • Create fun activities for outdoor play
  • Provide supervision for students
  • Engage children in singing, fingerplays, and activities
  • Observe students' performance, and record information to assess progress.
  • Organize and label materials and display students' work in a manner appropriate for their eye levels and perceptual skills.
  • Be fun and energetic with a genuine love for teaching
