Pre-Surgical Screener

We have an immediate opening for a full-time Pre-Surgical Screener to join our team. The schedule is Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm. This position will be remote following successful completion of 90 day review.

We always do whatever it takes, even if it isn’t specifically our “job.” In general, the Pre-Surgical Screener is responsible for:

• Ensure patients are prepared and cleared for surgery.

• Assist with the collection of your patient’s information, communicate with anesthesia and surgery centers, complete medical history, and assemble a clinical record for your patient.

• Answer phones and return voicemails promptly.

• Perform preoperative phone calls to your patients to collect preadmission information and provide appropriate pre-operative instructions.

• Maintain documentation regarding progress with your patient’s data collection and telephone communications.
  

• Compile your patient chart to ensure that all required documentation is immediately available, up to date, and conforming to regulations.

What You'll Bring:

The skills and education we need are:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years in a clinical office setting
• Excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal and customer service skills
• Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment
• Strong attention to detail, demonstrated ability to follow-through, and high degree of comfort with computer applications, accuracy and speed with data entry is required
• Surgical experience a plus!
