Office Assistant/ In-Office Technician at The CHIPS Network, Inc

The CHIPS Network, Inc in Oakland, MD is looking for an office assistant/in-office technician to join our strong team. The position will include office assistant duties and when able part in-office tech. The goal is to have a dedicated person in the office to assist with front desk, in-office repairs and customer support. It is possible for this position to transition into a different IT position within the company. The starting rate is $15-$19, based on experience. Monday - Friday, 9am-5pm. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, ambitious, and hard-working individual. We are located at 12978 Garrett Hwy.

Responsibilities

• Front desk customer service
• Answering and transferring phone calls
• In office computer repair and mobile repair
• Scheduling appointments
• Performing data entry
• Maintain an organized filing system
• Merchandise Receiving- must be able to bend, lift up to 50lb, stoop and sit
• Place orders for office equipment or business needs
• Enter data into reports as needed
• Light cleaning
• Other tasks as needed

Qualifications

• Preferred associate degree or years of work experience
• High School Diploma or its equivalent
• IT Experience
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Honest and dependable

Our office assistant/tech needs to be detail-oriented and well organized as they manage an array of tasks and office documents. This person also needs to have good interpersonal skills to communicate with others in the office, as well as customer service skills and some IT knowledge, you will regularly interact with the public. It is also helpful if you have critical-thinking and decision-making skills for working independently.

Monday through Friday, 9-5.

Available shifts and compensation: Available shifts all days except Sundays and Saturdays. Compensation is $15.00 - $19.00/hour.
