POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking a full-time Warehouse and Inventory Specialist to provide support to both the warehouse team and inventory team for a long-term special project. Responsibilities will be a combination of warehouse and inventory duties as follows: clean and maintain storage areas, tools, equipment, supplies, and orthopedic surgical kits for delivery to hospitals and clinics in the surrounding area. This position requires an individual who is dependable and a critical thinker with high attention to detail. You will be responsible for kit inspections, implementing and supporting Quality initiatives, maintaining account records, signing reporting and filing/scanning documents, conferring with distribution, sales, shipping, warehouse or common carrier personnel to expedite or trace deliveries, and keeping records on use and/or damage of stock and stock handling equipment, inventory for expiration dates, etc. You will also provide support in the following areas: assist team with daily activities in the inventory department., evaluate the selection and shipping process and work to improve efficiency, develop and maintain professional working relationships with sales representatives throughout the servicing area, oversee inventory and order additional products and supplies when needed, evaluate the selection and shipping process and work to improve efficiency, keep up to date with industry trends and update inventory as needed, assist with incoming and outgoing products that may be expiring and may need to be replaced. You may be asked to perform other duties as assigned.

PAY STRUCTURE

$20.00 per hour | Weekly Pay | W-2

SHIFT DAYS & TIMES

Monday-Friday | 9:00a to 7:00p | *NO WEEKENDS*

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must live in Houston, TX or a surrounding area.
  • Must have high school diploma or GED.
  • Must have a valid Driver's License.
  • Must have the physical ability to lift, push, pull and carry up to 50lbs.
  • Must have experience working with Microsoft Office Suite with specific knowledge of inventory system and Excel spreadsheets as well as Windows Operating Systems.
  • Must have excellent communication skills.
  • Must be a team player and professional in all settings.
  • Must be on time, dependable, ethical and possess high integrity.
  • Must be self-motivated, a self-starter, and a hard work ethic.
  • Must possess adaptability and flexibility.
  • Must have a fully functioning smartphone.
  • Must be able to multi-task and work well under pressure.
  • If hired, you must pass a background check.
