Location: Rochester, NY
Duration: 13 weeks
Start Date: April 15, 2024
Shift: Day/Night Rotation, 3/12-Hour Shifts (36 hours per week)
Hourly Rate: $65-$70 (Depending on years of experience)
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the medical-surgical and telemetry units.
- Assess patients' conditions and collaborate with healthcare team members to develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor and evaluate patients' progress and report any changes in their condition.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation.
- Educate patients and their families about healthcare procedures and disease management.
- Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and standards.
- Float to various units within the facility as needed to meet staffing requirements.
Requirements:
- Valid RN license in the state of New York.
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in medical-surgical nursing and telemetry.
- BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Willingness to float to different units within the facility as needed.
