Marisol at The Cliffs Hotel & Spa is continuously growing and expanding! We are seeking a gracious, thoughtful, and motivated part-time Bartender who can create a sense of luxury while engaging with guests in a fast-paced environment. We look forward to connecting with you!

Position Summary:

The Bartender is responsible for taking food and beverage orders accurately and in a timely manner, as well as ensuring the guest is fully satisfied by providing exceptional customer service as outlined in The Cliffs Mission.

Essential Functions of the job:

• Must be available 3 shifts per week minimum
• Must be available to work weekends, nights, and holidays
• On site work required
• Directly responsible for delivery of service to guests after seating in the bar
• Warmly welcome guests with-in 1-2 minutes after seating
• To take, place, deliver and serve food and beverage orders
• Ensure quality of ingredients, preparation, presentation, and correct temperature of food served to guests
• Ensure time standards are met
• Exhibit appropriate selling skills in suggestions of food and beverage
• Demonstrate an attitude of friendly hospitality in every aspect of service
• Communicate pleasantly and graciously with guests, management and co-workers
• Comply fully and consistently with all the hotel and restaurant conditions of employment and standards of uniform, grooming

Qualifications

• Bartending experience
• Customer service experience
• Energetic/Reliable

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand continuously for the duration of the shift (eight hours).
• Ability to lift small packages (40 pounds).
• Ability to work in stressful situations.

Education, Experience, Skills:

• High school diploma; college degree preferred.
• Responsible Beverage Service training & ABC exam
• Working knowledge of guest services in a luxury hotel setting.
• Excellent command of English language.
• Ability to work with people effectively.
• Ability to multitask and work in mentally demanding situations.
