Job Description

The Egg Donor Liaison works with the Donor Egg patients and is responsible for the preliminary screening and recruitment of egg donors for participation in our Egg Donor Program. This position is also responsible for maintaining the online database of donors. This position will work closely with fertility clinics to ensure a high quality of care and compliance with Federal, State, FDA, and Practice regulations & guidelines, along with work closely with the marketing department to provide feedback on donor recruiting and marketing efforts.

Hours: 8 hour shift M-F 9-5:30pm Rockville, MD

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Administrative Duties

- Reviews the incoming donor applications for completion

- Evaluates donor applications for “selectability”

- Completes an “intake” on the phone with each donor that completes the application in full

- Works with authorized and trained professionals for the review of the donor’s medical genetic family history and shall escalate issues or concerns as they arise to management

- Contacts donors after their donation and cycle review

- Maintains tracking of Donor Unique ID numbers

- Maintains weekly report for “active” donors on database

- Assists in identifying donors who meet donor program requirements

- Assists in coordination of Donor Day as indicated

- Enters donors into the tracking platforms

- Provides coverage for Intended Parent Liaisons as needed

- Meets with Intended Parent Liaisons to review database as needed

- Works independently and within a team on special and nonrecurring and ongoing projects

QUALIFICATIONS /REQUIREMENTS:

  • High School Diploma. Associate degree or Business School Diploma preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in a customer service related position
  • Knowledge of office procedure and office machines (i.e. computer, fax, copier, etc.)
  • Ability to demonstrate good judgment
  • Ability to communicate accurately and concisely
  • Ability to remain calm under busy work environment
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Excellent oral and written communications
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Effective time management and organizational skills
  • Above average computer proficiency with Microsoft office suite including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Strong customer orientation and follow through
  • Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in an ever-changing environment
  • Demonstrate motivation and flexibility
