Certified Medication Technician Job Details
Glasgow, KY
3 or 5 days work | {3pm - 11pm } {6pm - 7am} {3pm -4am} {11pm - 7am} | $19.50 - $20.50
- Temp/Temp with intent to hire
- Rotating Weekends
CMT Requirements
- Certified Nursing Assistant license that is active with KY Board of Nursing or ‘Composite States’
- Must possess a Certified Medication Technician State Letter authorizing the passing of medications
- Experience is preferred but not required
- CPR Certification preferred but can be offered on-site
About the CMT Role
- Prepare, administer, and chart medications and treatment
- Take temperature, pulse, and respiration to record in resident’s chart
- Assist with resident personal hygiene such as bathing, dental and oral care, and nail and hair care
- Collect, label, and record sputum, urine, or stool specimens for laboratory analysis
- Situate bedfast residents in correct and comfortable positions and turn residents every two hours
- Record residents’ food and fluid intake, bowel movements, and urine output
