Qualifications:
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent. Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program or MRI Technologist Program and completed required clinical hours.
- Experience: 3+ years specific MRI experience to area
- Licensure/Certifications: ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT 1 Advanced registry (MRI)- working in the area
- Other Skills & Knowledge:
• IV Insertion
• Technical skill in medical scanning, understanding of cross sectional anatomy, and 3-D knowledge.
• Assist with other duties of scheduling, acts as expert/problem-solver for internal/external issues, trains and orients new co-workers, assists with performance evaluations.Working Conditions, Mental and Physical Requirements:
• Manipulating equipment, lifting, moving, and transporting patients.
• Continual standing or walking.
• Adapt to stressful situations.Equipment Used:
• Should be proficient in the use of MRI Scanners, Power Injectors, workstations and Computers. - Preferred Certifications: Magnetic Resonance Safety Officer (MRSO) certification
- Preferred Education: Bachelor degree
