Title: Air Domain Subject Matter Expert (SME) – Close Air Support (CAS) Pilot

Location: Remote support (CONUS) and two forward engagements in partner nation (templated forward travel: 1 May 2024 – 14 June 2024  and  2 August 2024 – 7 September 2024)

Level of Effort  - Monthly Breakdown:
  • April 2024: Estimated 84 hours
  • May 2024: Estimated 168 hours
  • June 2024: Estimated 84 hours
  • July 2024: Estimated 84 hours
  • August 2024: Estimated 168 hours
  • 1-7 September 2024: Estimated 56 hours
Total: Estimated 644 hours

The Hoplite Group is seeking an Air Domain SME to assist a partner nation in reviewing a previously conducted capabilities-based assessment to validate, support, and refine the implementation plan. Selected candidate will also review Joint Tactical Air Control (JTAC) course curriculum to ensure successful execution of operations.

 Requirements:
  • Close Air Support pilot with extensive experience in air to ground integration operations.
  • Knowledgeable in Joint Targeting processes.
  • Knowledgeable in JTAC operations as a former certified JTAC or experience as a Forward Air Controller (FAC).
  • Experience working in a Combined Air Operations Center (CAOC).
  • Department of Defense current active Secret Clearance a must.
