Parking Garage Attendant (Maintenance)

Parking Garage Attendant:

Role Responsibilities:

• Cleans ash tray urns.
• Maintains cleanliness of customer restrooms.
• Maintains cleanliness in all parking areas; sweeps and picks up trash in and around the JACK Cleveland Casino Parking Garage.
• Familiarizes self with the proper use of all cleaning equipment and chemicals.
• Clean, water and maintain landscaping/shrubs around drive.
• Power wash pavers and drives as needed.
• Light snow removal in winter months around drive apron as needed.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

• Must be able to work independently.
• Must be able to continuously perform repetitive hand, arm, and shoulder motion.
• Must be able to sit, stand or walk for long periods of time (4 hours).
• Must be able to maneuver throughout all areas of the property and from floor to floor either by stairways (minimum of 20 steps) or escalator.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.; and, have the ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop and kneel.
• Must be able to tolerate areas containing dust, loud noises and bright lights.
• Must be able to work varied shifts, weekends and holidays as needed.
• Ability to simultaneously manage several projects, and not be frustrated by changing priorities and unforeseen obstacles to achieving objectives.
• Ability to speak distinctly and persuasively.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English

Education & Experience Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to work a flexible shift to include nights, holidays and weekends.
• Must be a team player.
• Must present a well-groomed appearance.
• Previous housekeeping or janitorial experience preferred.

• Some knowledge of proper chemical usage preferred.

• Meets the attendance guidelines and adheres to departmental and company policies.
• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Must be 21 years of age.
