  • Identify category and opportunities that can be scaled globally

  • Allowing Business Unit teams to focus on applying and translating this learning into local market growth opportunities.

This role will be pivotal to the success of the long-term growth and future proofing of the Haleon Wellness Category. In this role you will…

  • Partner with our Global Marketing team, key Business Units and cross functional partners (eg R&D) to unlock and accelerate brand & portfolio growth, creating world class brands that are built on a foundation of deep human understanding. Embodying the voice of consumers, shoppers and experts you will help shape the global category and brand strategy and deliver competitive advantage through the development of brand building communication and innovation programs.

  • Secondly, you will play a unique leadership role within the CBIA (Consumer Business Insights & Analytics) team working with the Portfolio CBIA Head to bring forward looking perspectives, scale and embed leading capabilities and set future direction to elevate the role and impact of the portfolio Insights and analytics team.  We have a significant transformation and development ambition for our Insights and analytics organization

This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career.  These responsibilities include some of the following:

  • Full ownership and accountability for the creation and delivery of the Wellness Deep Human Understanding learning plan including: Foundational Learning; Brand & Category Strategy; Innovation Strategy, Development, Validation & In-market performance understanding; Communication Strategy & Connections Development, Validation In-market performance understanding; Equity & Market performance understanding

  • Be a key advisor and business partner of the Wellness Leadership Team by putting the consumer, expert and shopper at the heart of all brand and category decisions

  • Own a complete vision of the consumer health experience journey, map the journey and identify critical triggers, barriers and touchpoints to leverage for communication, innovation and experiences development

  • Partner to embed the Global Growth Framework, ensuring it informs where to play choices and cross category collaborations

  • Consolidate learning from existing CBIA products and Business Programs (eg The Observatory, Communication Codes, Repeatable Growth model, Front End Innovation Program etc) along with strategic agency partner insight (Research, Media, Creative etc) to enrich our understanding of consumers and unlock growth

  • Generate forward looking and predictive views of category & brand performance by understanding drivers of consumer behaviour, market share performance, competitive landscape, macro forces & trends etc and articulate clear and compelling requirements for business action

  • Identify future growth opportunities through landscape and trend analysis of the relevant category and sub segment analysis

  • Embed new world class Insight & Analytical tools, capabilities, and methodologies to unlock deeper human understanding across the insight and analytic eco system

  • Mentor and develop 2 direct reports (1 to be recruited mid 2024), ensuring all team members are performing to a high level.  Collaborate seamlessly across BU, Regional and Global CBIA teams.

  • Manage the budget.  Ensure spend effectiveness, driving efficiency and capture value delivered.

  • Play a leading role in the ongoing transformation of the Portfolio CBIA team by championing strong capabilities in storytelling, whole brain mindset, agile, iterative & behavioral learning approaches etc

*this role follows hybrid model and requires 2-3 day in office presence

We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • 15+ years of experience – experience must include client side and global roles

  • Significant experience and background grounded in human understanding with the ability to identify and unearth unique insights in consumers and shoppers

  • Thorough knowledge of the latest and most relevant tools, techniques, methodologies, tech and vendors that will enable the ambition of driving deeper human understanding across the business.  

  • Deep understanding of the dynamics driving consumer healthcare with a proven track record of turning those insights into actionable recommendations.

  • Demonstrate curiosity about people, ideally with a grounding in behavioral science 

  • Proven experience and ability to work in an agile, design driven fashion

  • Proven track record of high performance, driving strong delivery and business results

  • Ability to communicate with clarity and impact across all levels of seniority

  • Proven leadership and networking skills at Global, Regional and local levels as well as ability to build strong external networks and partnerships

Haleon offers a robust Total Reward package that consists of competitive pay and a comprehensive benefits program.  This includes a generous 401(k) plan, tuition reimbursement and time off programs including 6 months paid parental leave.  On day one, you are eligible for benefits, including our healthcare programs where the company pays for the majority of your medical coverage for you and your family.  We also offer the opportunity to receive a discretionary bonus based on the achievement of key business performance and other incentive/recognition programs as part of the offering.  The salary range for this role is $ 147,973 - 200,199 USD.
