Job Title: ICU Registered Nurse
Location: Savannah, GA 31404
Shift: Full-Time, Nights > 12 Hour Shifts / Weekend Rotation
Salary: $58,718-$88,088/year based on experience
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and compassionate ICU Registered Nurse to join our team in Savannah, GA. As an ICU RN, you will play a crucial role in providing specialized care to patients with critical illness and vent management. Responsibilities:
- Understand patients with critical illness and vent management. Ability to respond to Code Blue situations within the facility and initiate protocol, special procedures, and cardiac monitoring.
- Manage the efficient flow of patients, including screening, preparation for exams, providing general nursing care, and arranging testing and admissions.
- Instruct patients and their families regarding medications and treatment instructions.
- Maintain and review patients' records, including posting tests and examination results.
- Administer medications in accordance with physician orders.
- Check rooms daily to ensure necessary supplies are available.
- Respond to and refer incoming telephone calls, including phone triage when needed.
Requirements:
- Graduate from an accredited school of Nursing: associate degree in nursing or higher is required.
- Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice and/or hold an active Compact/Multi-State RN license.
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider certification is required.
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Health Care Provider certification is preferred and required to be obtained within 6 months of hire/transfer date.
- Prior ICU nursing experience is strongly preferred.
Relocation Assistance: $5,000 for candidates relocating over 250 miles. $2,500 for candidates relocating over 50 miles.
Sign-On Bonus: $20,000
