Warehouse Specialist, Supply Chain Services
Anacortes, WA

ARC Group is currently seeking a motivated Warehouse Specialist with a focus on Supply Chain Logistics to join our team. This position is based in Anacortes, WA, initially offered as a six-month contract with the potential for conversion to full-time employment. As a vital member of our supply chain operations, you will play a key role in warehouse management, inventory control, logistical planning, and procurement activities.

Warehouse / Supply Chain Logistics Specialist Responsibilities
  • Execute daily warehouse operations, including shipping and receiving, to support local operations effectively.
  • Input and manage supplies received at warehouse facilities through the designated system.
  • Replenish standard items, equipment, supplies, and services as needed, while also issuing parts and supplies to support operational requirements.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate documentation such as requisitions, inventory lists, and manifests, ensuring meticulous inventory control.
  • Coordinate deliveries to vessels and terminal locations, arranging transportation vendors in alignment with directives from the Supply Chain Manager, with consideration of cost, quality, and reliability.

Warehouse / Supply Chain Logistics Specialist Requirements
  • 2 or more years of experience in warehousing, materials management, or procurement-related roles.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, including Excel, Outlook, Teams, and Word.
  • Commitment to safety protocols and a proactive approach to addressing and rectifying unsafe practices.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to cultivate and maintain productive relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong team player with demonstrated collaboration skills.
  • Proven ability to identify and address routine problems, contributing to process improvements and enhanced efficiency.
  • Knowledge of warehouse operations, including expediting functions.
  • Forklift certification either obtained before employment or willingness to undergo training and certification post-hire.
  • Valid driver's license and competence in operating company vehicles.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a valid Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC).
  • Flexibility to accommodate work outside standard hours of 7 am to 4 pm, as required.
