Principal Duties/Responsibilities:

· Collaborates with executive leadership, operations, finance, marketing, and sales to align the business development strategy with the ATS growth strategy.

· Researches specified industry market and assesses opportunities for long-term growth from customers, markets, services / products, and mergers or acquisitions. Directly responsible for business intelligence team, focused on research and insights relative to specified industry markets, competition, and pricing strategies.

· Prepares business plans, financial modeling, sensitivity analyses, and risk analyses to support business decisions.

· Builds relationships with ATS sales team to ensure service levels and results meet or exceed expectations and to keep abreast of additional business opportunities.

· Develops and maintains a business development pipeline and builds strategic relationships with key decision makers / executives.

· Builds and leads results-driven teams by taking a strategic and technical view of performance management by involving employees in planning, relationship building, decision-making, and analysis processes.

· Directly oversee the operational teams responsible for industrial parts related ecommerce, surplus, brokerage, distribution, and M&A growth activities.

· Maintains technical knowledge of global standards for business development opportunities.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities (KSAs), & Competencies:

Essential KSAs:

· Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.

· 5+ years of management experience with business development and commercial responsibilities.

· Experience and knowledge of forecasting, budgeting, general accounting practices, business planning, strategy development, risk mitigation, marketing, sales strategy, and building business partnerships.

· General understanding of customer and marketplace needs, business intelligence research, financial modeling, and risk analysis.

· Excellent interpersonal communication and presentation skills

· Ability to lead cross-functional projects and accomplish deadlines in a fast-paced work environment

· Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

· Ability to travel up to 40%

Desirable KSAs:

· MBA is preferred

· Management experience with direct operations and P&L financial responsibilities.

· Demonstrated success in manufacturing or related business, preferably in a low-volume, high-mix purchasing environment, with experience in supply chain, storeroom and/or inventory management.

· Experience in customer facing role, supporting or directing commercial growth strategies.

· Experience overseeing mergers and acquisitions integrations.

Physical Demands and Working Conditions:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands/fingers to handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch; and talk or hear. The employee is also required to use a telephone with headset for verbal troubleshooting, frequent use of a standard keyboard and computer to document calls in a ticketing system, and occasional use of other office equipment. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move more than 30 pounds. The employee is occasionally required to sit for long periods and use close and color vision. Work is typically performed in a moderately noisy business office.
