Summary:
The Buyer, Car Fleet specialist position is specifically focused on supporting the North American car plans which includes a fleet of over 1,500 vehicles and drivers.
Schedule & Location:
This is a non-exempt hourly, office-based position in Johnston, Rhode Island. The schedule requires the employee to work on-site four days per week. The schedule is Monday through Friday 37.5 hours per week with flexible start and stop times based on business needs. Employees must work on-site, Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, and either Tuesday or Friday may work remotely, depending on business needs.
· Daily support of fleet driver calls, emails and inquiries
· Daily ticket triage and resolution with fleet drivers and fleet management partner company
· Coordination of vehicle refreshes (including ordering new fleet vehicles)
· Ensure driver compliance with applicable corporate policies
· Monthly invoice analysis and reporting.
· Prepares analysis to construct annual fleet vehicle selector list for eligible employees
· Participates in ad-hoc projects, as necessary
High School Diploma or equivalent
Highly Preferred Education:
Associate degree in Business
Required Work Experience:
2+ years of related experience
Highly Preferred Work Experience:
3– 5 years of fleet management experience.

· Attention to detail
· Excellent customer service skills
· Must be proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
· Mathematical accuracy and strong organizational skills
· Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and be comfortable interacting with all levels of employees throughout the organization
· Exhibits good problem-solving skills
· Demonstrates ability to work independently or on a team
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment balancing multiple priorities
· Must possess a basic understanding of automotive concepts
Highly Preferred Skills:
· Knowledge of fleet management processes and systems
The hiring range for this position is $28.41-$40.87 per hour. The final salary offer will vary based on individual education, skills, and experience.
