The Role

We have an immediate opening for a Supply Attendant responsible for materials management in PICS and OSP I&R/Designed Services garage locations. The employee will be responsible for the integrity, accuracy, and associated investment for PICS in garage locations, as well as OSP material and HSI modems. The employee will also be required to provide Contractor support as assigned. The employee will be required to work and travel various tours and hours as determined by the needs of the business. They will travel to and provide Supply Chain support at multiple metro and remote garage locations as needed.

The Main Responsibilities

Establish & maintain appropriate stock levels of all materials utilized by network technicians in the completion of customer orders to ensure service objectives are met.
Order, receive and put away materials in pre-established bins, shelves, and other locations within the garage/storeroom.
Monitor stocking levels and return excess or order additional materials as needed.
Keep storeroom and garage well organized and clean.
Set up and rearrange storeroom layout when needed.
Maintain appropriate stock levels for all current materials.
Get rid of all empty boxes in a timely manner.
Check caged areas and make sure they are clean, neat, and orderly.
Do Cycle Counts if/when directed by your immediate supervisor or as required.
Do FAMT Lite Inventory and process returns if required.
Check PICS area for ordering/returns and process defective, like for like replacement, and excess good PICS.
Return and track excess PICS stock to Denver Logistics Warehouse as defined by process.
Process, package, and ship equipment, tools, and test sets in need of repair.
Provide available local stock for emergency rush orders.
Replace old bins with new ones.
LNO Yard Duties
Establish and maintain appropriate stock levels of all materials utilized by network technicians in the completion of customer orders to ensure service objectives are met.
Clean inside and outside yard area, including docks. This includes dusting, sweeping, and picking up/discarding trash in appropriate containers and restocking usable materials, etc.
Walk the LNO yard frequently and ensure that we have no excess cable and/or associated materials in the garage.
Must be able to operate lifting devices such as pallet jacks and forklift and lift gates.
Use forklift to move materials as needed, organize cable reels by size.
Ability to work with all types of material including HazMat.
Deliver emergency out of service material to specific locations.
Coordinate transportation/delivery of PICS materials.
Support and partner with OSP technicians and management.
Send back pallets and empty reels as needed.
Prepare material requisition and orders via SAP/CART/ARIBA systems.
Analyze orders/receipts and report errors including overages, shortages, and damages. Check status regularly on backordered material.

Additional Duties

Arrange and coordinate material transportation utilizing telephone and/or email.
Communicate effectively and problem solve with technicians, managers, and contractors.
Assist when needed for re-planning of FAMT Life PICS Levels.
Receive, log, distribute, and return materials and BVAPP jobs to appropriate office.
Notify planners of location/description involvement of MRO materials.
Coordinate pick up/delivery for Repair and Return materials.
Identify and redirect lost or misdirected shipments.
Provide back up support for other Supply Attendants as needed.
Strive to Perfect the Customer Experience.

What We Look For in a Candidate

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience utilizing SAP/CART ordering systems or the ability to learn quickly.
  • Familiar with material and tools used by Network Technicians.
  • Experience in ordering, receipting, and maintaining/updating inventory spreadsheets. Special Job Requirements/Education
  • Upon hire, the position requires that selected candidates satisfy CenturyLink OSHA requirements outlined for a certified forklift operator.
  • Requirements will include written and hands-on testing which will be conducted on-site

Education

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
Compensation

The starting salary for this role differs based on the employee's primary work location. Employees typically do not start at the top of the range, though compensation depends on each individual's qualifications.

Location Based Pay Ranges

$13.48 - $25.00 in these states: UT

As with the pay range variety that's based on the region of a country, specific offers are determined by various factors such as experience, education, skills, certifications and other business needs.
