What you'll be doing...

The marketing technology team is all about using data and automation as the fuel to propel our sales and marketing interactions beyond our competition. In this role, you will play a key role in designing, implementing, and optimizing data-driven decision strategies using Pega Decisioning solutions. The primary focus will be on improving customer interactions, marketing strategies, and operational efficiency through the effective utilization of Pega's platform. Your work will help us meet our customers' needs better and make it easier for them to do business with Verizon.

Responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams and deliver innovative solutions that meet both customer and business objectives.
  • Partnering with stakeholders, internal teams, and subject matter experts to gather and prioritize product requirements and translate these into actionable product specifications utilizing Pega decisioning technologies.
  • Working closely with development teams to ensure a deep understanding of technical constraints and possibilities.
  • Making informed decisions on technology choices, architecture, and development methodologies.
  • Staying informed about relevant technological advancements to drive innovation.
  • Using data-driven insights to iterate on product strategy and features.

What we're looking for...

You understand AI/ML concepts, Pega Customer Decisioning Hub technology, and agile software development methodology and relish the challenge of applying these tools to provide the best experience for customers and sales reps across systems of engagement. You take satisfaction in solving problems and know how to influence up, down, and across groups. You are constantly on the lookout for new technological innovations and emerging industry trends so we can stay ahead of the game. You are motivated to achieve the goal of 100% AI-powered sales and marketing personalization at Verizon.

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelors' degree in Information Management, Data Science, Business Management or a related field or four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant experience.
  • Experience within any of the following areas: information technology, product delivery, data science.
  • Demonstrated ability and experience to engage with software developers and data scientists at a technical level.
  • Progressive experience delivering data-driven information technology solutions in sales, marketing, or operations domains.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of agile development and AI/ML methodologies, tools, and frameworks.
  • Experience prioritizing and managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

  • Hands-on experience in optimizing electronic commerce customer journeys, digital transformation and data analytics initiatives.
  • Masters' degree or certification in Business Analytics, Computer Science, or MBA.
  • Working knowledge of Pega Decisioning platform.
  • Certifications in Pega Systems, Data Management, Data Analytics, Software Development methodologies.
  • Experience with cloud-based sales and marketing tools and platforms.
  • Working knowledge of data analysis tools such as SQL, Python, Tableau, PowerBI, R etc.
  • Power user of Google Worksheets, Microsoft Excel.
  • Strategic thinker with excellent communication and presentation skills.
