What Financial Planning & Analysis contributes to Cardinal Health
Finance oversees the accounting, tax, financial plans and policies of the organization, establishes and maintains fiscal controls, prepares and interprets financial reports, oversees financial systems and safeguards the organization's assets.

Financial Planning & Analysis provides strategic partnership and objective guidance to business units. It leads cross functional efforts to enable forward looking, actionable insights with a focus on driving strategic value that influences key business decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Month end analysis and reporting around generic sales, selling margin and customer rebates
  • Performs detailed margin analysis of generic sales at the customer, supplier and item level
  • Maintain generic launch pipeline and expectations of new item volumes
  • Creation of forecasts/budget
  • Develop key financial assumptions by utilizing business trends, market data andcompetitive intelligence for budgeting and forecasting, which include new generic launches, market growth, inflation/deflation, etc.
  • Assisting in driving business unit profitability initiatives
  • Ad-hoc analysis to support finance/sourcing/revenue management
  • Partner with accounting to ensure month end accruals and ledger balances are accurate
  • Lead monthly sales reviews with finance leadership, sourcing and sales teams

Qualifications

  • 8-12 years of experience preferred
  • BA, BS or equivalent experience in related field preferred. Advance Degree preferred

  • Anticipated salary range: $102,000 - $145,700
