In this integral position, the Project Manager must understand and identify the key needs and pain points of a designated retailer. Responsibilities:

  • Oversight of all operational daily activities including managing the work schedule, payroll and team development.
  • Utilizes retail reports and reporting systems to effectively and accurately allocate, manage and monitor customer resource expectations for set/project work.
  • Implement Retail Merchandising and Consumer Experience Marketing execution plans
  • Leadership oversight of operations at Ahold for either SAS merchandising or Interactions event marketing work.
  • Motivates, directs and inspires teams to deliver on the agreed upon metrics of the customer and suppliers in conjunction with the needed resources/teams across the retailer

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 5 years of professional work experience required; 7+ years preferred. CPG and/or retail experience preferred
  • Experience in retail merchandising and event marketing a plus
  • Functional Knowledge and Business Expertise Required
  • Solid background and demonstrated ability to bring together a diverse team

Position Summary

The Project Manager position offers direct project involvement and collaborative work with field based account teams and internal operations staff via email and in-person in a results-driven, fun and dynamic group/team based corporate culture. The Project Manager oversees the planning, implementation, and tracking of projects from conception to completion with specified deliverables.

This position requires strong organizational skills and ability to work on many tasks in parallel. The project manager will own the project execution, be responsible for the project schedule, overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of specific projects ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments and goals.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning and implementation of project
  • Define project tasks and resource requirements
  • Assemble and coordinate project staff and provide direction and support to project team & quality assurance
  • Plan and schedule project timelines
  • Track project deliverables using appropriate tools
  • Schedule and facilitate key project meetings - conduct team status meetings and team status schedule.
  • Route materials to approving departments
  • Enforce the use of company data programs such as Proof HQ and InTrack3
