Healthcare Product Consulting Internship Location: Englewood, CO (hybrid) Duration: 8 weeks (June 7 - August 2) Position Overview

Healthcare Product Interns work alongside experienced associates on complex and emerging technology solutions for Cognizant clients. You will have the opportunity to work on complex emerging technology and business projects to craft the next phase of innovation in the healthcare industry. You will assist in designing and developing fully functional software products catering to healthcare and aligning with user needs and business goals. Potential assignments could involve any combination of application development, maintenance, testing, business requirements gathering and analysis or project management.

Qualifications

• Legally authorized to work in the U.S. Due to the nature of this position Cognizant cannot provide sponsorship for U.S. work authorization (including participation in a CPT/OPT program).
• Preferred majors include Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Sciences, Mathematics with a graduation between December 2024 and June 2025.
• Interest in Healthcare domain and data - Data Science, Data Analytics, Databases, large data sets, or data mining.
• For technical roles; Basic knowledge of the programming languages of either Java or .NET, Python, C#, SQL, Angular and cloud services - such as Azure, AWS
• For data analytics roles; Experience with Agile / Scrum / DevOps, excellent verbal and presentation skills
• Available to intern for the full 8-week internship from June - August 2024.

Location(s) Internship

New hires will be deployed to Cognizant office in Englewood-CO where you will work alongside other experienced Cognizant associates delivering technology solutions. Please note that this role will be hybrid which will require interns to be in the office at least two days a week.

Hourly Rate and Other Compensation

The hourly rate for this position is $25.00 per hour, depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
