Who you are:

-You are passionate about human-centered experience design with a love for creating exceptional digital products & programs that improve people's lives. You bridge the customer experience to the business. For you, the user always comes first, and through research and co-creative workshops you can quickly identify unmet needs and areas of opportunity for the client.

-You're a strategic, creative, and collaborative leader with a passion for the automotive and/or utilities industry. You are a trend seeker, with a deep understanding of how the market is evolving - including behavioral drivers and technological signals of change.

-You are a strong storyteller with a keen ability to knit together a compelling narrative that captures clients' attention. You're comfortable navigating pro-active pitches and responsive RFPs. You're able to foster new client relationships and grow the DX practice.

What your day-to-day will look like:

-Develop and grow client relationships within our Auto Portfolio

-Act as a go-to human-centered design expert in the Automotive domain and special focus on Dealer and Owner Experience

-Act as the Automotive SME, relied on for strategic POVs

-Support RFP and pitch creation across DX opportunities within the Automotive vertical

-Contribute to pre-sales, scoping, client reviews and negotiations

-Understand and incorporate complex business, strategic, and technical requirements into engagement opportunities

-Design and facilitate successful presentations and workshops for senior executive level clients

-Conduct trend-scans to identify market drivers

-Actively manage a broad network of stakeholders across the client organization, and within Cognizant, Cognizant Digital Experience and network agencies, including Idea Couture

What you'll need:

-Undergraduate or graduate degree in service design, strategic design, innovation strategy, business administration, or a related field

-5+ years experience in agency/consulting or client side with a focus on Automotive or Utilities

-Digital agency experience or MBA is considered a strong asset

-Proven ability to critique, analyze, and elevate digital strategies and ideas

-Strong client leadership and facilitation skills with the ability to command and guide a room

-Design thinking and diverse strategic/experience design skill set, with a focus on digital products, platforms, and programs

-Proficient in personas, design principles, user journeys, service blueprints, and rapid prototyping methods

-Conversant in the principles and practices of human-centered design

-Experience in ideation activities including opportunity identification and analysis, segmentation, and product and business model definition

Note: Currently travel is not a requirement; would expect up to 25% as business requirements change

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $172,000 and $212,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
