About this job

Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate the development and implementation of a global ETF operations model among various locations in North America (NAM), Europe (EMEA), and Asia (APAC)
  • Serve as a liaison between Fund Administration Operations (Fund Accounting and Financial Reporting) and ETF Operations teams within and among each region
  • Manage and monitor CPIS budget for ETF Operations (tech budget for Operations priorities)
  • Manage ETF project implementations ranging in complexity from moderate to complex
  • Using Agile, manage a team including tech partners and business analysts to provide requirements for ETF Operations projects in the ACES system
  • Work with Operations management and staff to develop priorities to deliver a standardized, scalable global operating model with the goal of achieving superior operating leverage to provide a competitive advantage
  • Determine key objectives, milestones, time frame, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing projects, and allotment of available resources to various phases of projects
  • Develop, review and communicate project plan(s) to peers and senior management
  • Engage with project staff and stakeholders to outline project plan and to assign duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority
  • Direct and coordinate activities of project stakeholders to ensure project progresses on schedule and within prescribed standards
  • Track, follow up and support all requests through to completion, advising all involved parties when a request is complete.
  • Comply with all audit, regulatory and compliance directives.
  • Proactively identify/manage operational risk
  • Implement best practice processes and controls to achieve high quality output and exceptional service delivery
  • Manage the process of ETF systems implementations and also other systems that impact the ETF busienss
  • Drive partnership with other functional areas
  • Drive leadership and ownership in seeking solutions when crisis situations arise
  • Continuously seek to identify opportunities for efficiency and control improvements in the process, and implement such improvements whenever possible.

Demonstrated leadership and initiative with ability to take charge and accomplish tasks in a fast paced, large global firm

Demonstrated securities product and industry knowledge

Ability to establish and build trust with client and senior leadership throughout the business

  • Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent project management experience
  • Minimum 15 years business experience in Financial Services
  • Minimum 10 years of ETF Operations experience
  • Minimum 5 years Fund Accounting and ETF project experience
  • Proven track record for delivering and managing complex project / programs with a positive outcome for both the client and the firm
  • Experience developing and delivering operational strategic initiatives
