Job Description Overview

All Covered, a leading national provider Managed IT Services company, is seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Sales Development to lead a high-performance team in uncovering and developing new business opportunities. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of relevant experience, a proven track record in sales and business development, and the ability to manage and inspire a team.


Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership:
* Lead and mentor a team of Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) to execute high-impact outbound prospecting activities.
* Collaborate closely with the Marketing team to develop and implement effective business development strategies, aligning with All Covered's goals and target market.

Pipeline Development:
* Execute a strategic and targeted approach to outreach, including phone calls, social messages, emails, and follow-ups, to generate and nurture pipeline opportunities within designated target accounts.
* Introduce All Covered's comprehensive portfolio of Managed IT Services to potential clients through strategic account identification and outbound prospecting.

Lead Management:
* Manage both inbound and outbound lead activities for named accounts, qualifying active buying interest and identifying opportunities for the sales team.
* Articulate the value proposition, navigate objections, and foster relationships with prospects to set the stage for effective discovery calls and future sales.

Sales Cycle Acceleration:
* Collaborate with the entire sales organization to accelerate the sales cycle and expand reach into target accounts.
* Ensure seamless integration of inbound marketing campaigns with other marketing efforts, providing a superior user experience for customers.

Team Building and Playbook Development:
* Build and lead a high-performing Sales Development team.
* Develop playbooks and processes to enhance the effectiveness of the Sales Development function, ensuring consistency and scalability.
Training and Development:
* Oversee the training and development of the Sales Development team, ensuring they are well-equipped to achieve success.
* Drive continuous learning and development initiatives to keep the team up-to-date on industry trends, All Covered solutions, and sales methodologies.

Collaboration and Representation:
* Collaborate cross-functionally with departments such as Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Product Development.
* Represent All Covered at industry events, showcasing the company's expertise and solutions.

Performance Metrics and Recognition:
* Drive a metric-driven approach, ensuring earning potential for the team.
* Provide recognition and opportunities for standout performance within the Sales Development team.


Qualifications


* Bachelors preferred or Highschool Diploma/GED commensurate with experience
* 10+ years of applicable work experience in sales development, business development, and B2B sales.


* Proven management experience, with the ability to lead and inspire a team.
* Experience with sales training and Salesforce.com is a plus.
* Strong understanding of SaaS and Managed IT Services is highly desirable.
* Excellent relationship-building, communication, and listening skills.
* Positive and energetic phone demeanor, strong writing skills.
* Self-motivated, results-driven, efficient, organized, resilient, and persistent.
* Proficient with relevant productivity tools (email, Sales Engagement tools, MS Office, LinkedIn).
* Ability to adapt to an analytical, performance-focused mentality and environment.
