What you'll be doing...

You will be working at the intersection of data base management, marketing and technology within Verizon Business Group Marketing and Customer Experience Technology group to support the Performance Management and Program Success team as well as the broader VBG Digital MarTech and CXTech team with SQL-related requests, including analysis and presenting the findings and strategic recommendations.

Responsibilities include:

  • Building, automating and maintaining complex SQL queries and data marts to compile performance data necessary for analysis of strategy effectiveness for transformational programs, Real Time Marketing and Next Best Experience.
  • Building dashboards to tell a story with visualization tools to help to identify opportunities to maximize performance.
  • Working closely with the Pega Decisioning and Real Time Marketing teams to translate the business needs to trackable targets and performance metrics with logic validations.
  • Solving complex reporting requests by understanding the requestors' needs and provide the most efficient data and analysis to address the business needs.

What we're looking for...

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or Marketing or four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant experience.
  • Experience as a data analyst focused on business intelligence.
  • Experience with SQL.
  • Experience with coding languages (i.e., R, Python).
  • Strong experience with Tableau or similar visualization tools.
  • Experience with Teradata, Utilities and other Batch tools.
  • Working knowledge of Pega Decisioning Platform and/or Adobe stacks.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

  • Telecomm or cloud computing industry experience.
  • Interest in more advanced topics in analytics (machine learning, artificial intelligence).
  • B2B Experience.
