Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related specialized area or field or equivalent is required plus a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience; or a Master's degree.

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:

Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

By effectively collaborating on the operations team within the 24/7 Network Operations Center (NOC) environment, the Technical Operations Specialist will provide monitoring of Enhanced Mobile Satellite Services (EMSS) operations. This includes physical security systems, building management/monitoring systems, telephone switching equipment, radio equipment, satellites, and data communications equipment. Your responsibilities while working with your shift teammates will entail responding to alarms, testing services, building customer and system trouble-tickets, and providing situation awareness to subject matter experts and customers. You will be supporting the EMSS program, part of the United States Space Force. Think you're up to the task?

What you bring to the table:

• A Bachelor's degree in a related specialized area or field or equivalent plus a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience; or a Master's degree
• Extensive knowledge of communications systems and network operations
• Solid knowledge in the technical application of network management systems and corresponding tools such as Linux and Windows OS and REMEDY/SL1 (or equivalent) based trouble reporting and tracking

Target salary range: USD $78,032.60/Yr. - USD $84,433.70/Yr. This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors (geographic location, etc.). Actual pay may vary. This job posting will remain open until the position is filled.
