Maintenance Manager

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent is required plus a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree plus a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:

Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

Responsibilities for this Position

As a Facilities Maintenance Manager with GDMS, supporting the US Space Force's Enhanced Mobile Satellite Services Program, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the optimal functioning of our physical work environment. Your responsibilities will include overseeing the maintenance and upkeep of our facilities, managing service contracts, and coordinating with internal stakeholders to address infrastructure needs. With a focus on creating a safe, efficient, and productive workplace you will execute a preventive maintenance program as well as managing the corrective maintenance policies and procedures. Your strategic approach will lead to the seamless operations of our technical infrastructure, supporting EMSS's overall success.

What You'll Experience:

• Technologies that are uniquely designed to support mobile missions using a low earth orbit satellite constellation.
• An experienced team with extensive knowledge in Mobile Satellite Communication.

What You Bring To The Table:

• Knowledge of heating and ventilation systems, direct current power systems, back-up generators, switchgear equipment, and uninterruptible power supplies (UPS).
• Expertise in overseeing preventative maintenance programs.
• Ability to understand technical problems and collaborate with Subject Matter Experts to resolve them.
• Ability to show initiative on assignments, exercises independent judgment and professionally executes projects with little direction.
• Be able to receive little instruction on day-to-day work, and general instructions on new assignments.

Target salary range: USD $101,357.00/Yr. - USD $109,671.50/Yr. This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors (geographic location, etc.). Actual pay may vary. This job posting will remain open until the position is filled.
