CNC Machinist - Full-time / Part-time

Our client in Buffalo, NY is seeking a Lathe and Mill machinist to join their CNC team.  In this role, the ideal candidate will setup and operate CNC mills or Okuma lathes with live tooling.

Job Title: CNC Machinist

Location: Tonawanda, NY

Pay Range: Starting at $21.00 up to $35.00 per hour.

Shift: 2nd  and 3rd shift openings available

What’s the Job?

• Operate the CNC mill and Okuma lathe machines with using live tooling.
• Ability to complete tool changes, offsets and machine setups
• Inspect, maintain and report finished product has met company standards.
• Utilizing tools such as micrometers and calipers to accurately measure dimensions.

What’s Needed?

• 2+ years of consistent CNC lathe and mill operation
• Ability to read blueprints, define problems and collect data.
• Knowledge of micrometers, calipers and other measuring and power hand tools.
• Knowledge of G & M code and editing
• Reliable transportation
