An ADP Client, Turnkey Solutions is actively seeking Systems Administrator II to join their team in their Baton Rouge and New Orleans, LA offices. Their proactive approach to network management, including installing and maintaining the most up-to-date technology that elevates productivity levels, allows their clients to benefit from smooth business operations and harness competitive advantage as a direct result.About the Role: Turnkey Solutions is growing their team of top-tier technology professionals by adding a new Systems Admin II. This individual will be working primarily in their Help Desk and Support Services team to maintain and administer IT Infrastructure, VoIP, Cloud, Cybersecurity services and Business Applications for their clients. This person will frequently represent Turnkey Solutions on the phone and face to face with clients so they will be expected to always maintain the highest level of professionalism. This position will be reporting directly to the Help Desk Manager. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Provide excellent customer service by being responsive, patient, professional, courteous, and communicating clearly. Complete assigned service and project tickets on time and within allotted budget. Document time and work notes accurately and promptly. Under the direction of the help desk manager, you will work assigned service tickets to provide a wide range of support to our clients’ end users. This may include resolving application errors, diagnosing network or Internet related problems, adding/removing user accounts, educating end users with “how to” instruction for tasks that they need help with. Work with vendors for technical support issues on behalf of our clients. Receive and work service ticket escalations from other helpdesk team members. Provide advanced consulting support for client IT contacts to help them best utilize technology we’ve implemented for them. Make use of “back end” monitoring systems to gather data for troubleshooting and reporting. Assist the Project Services teams (or other teams) with overflow tasks as needed. Identify any potential Cybersecurity vulnerabilities, bring them to management and participate in resolution/mitigation as required. Create, update, and improve upon systems, configuration, and process documentation. Participate in the on-call rotation for after-hours service issues. Ideal Candidate: · 3-5 years of experience & related education in a similar role/field. · Dependable & punctual.· Pass background and drug screening.· Strong customer service and communication skills; dependability & punctuality. · Ability to adhere to service budgets, checklist and SOPs for efficiency and consistency. · Windows Server (2016+) installation and administration. · Active Directory and related services (DNS, DHCP, Group Policy) configuration, administration and troubleshooting. · Common business applications such as Microsoft Office Suite, Quickbooks, Sage. · Network printer setup and troubleshooting. · Virtualization technologies (HyperV and/or VMware) installation, configuration, troubleshooting. · Network Firewall configuration and management (Watchguard, Sonicwall, Cisco, Fortinet, etc) · Working knowledge of fundamental networking concepts such as IPv4 addressing, VLANs, Routing, Wireless, VPN. · Working knowledge of server and desktop hardware – installing/upgrading components such as RAM, NICs, Fans, CPUs, HBAs. · Microsoft 365 / Exchange based email. · Microsoft SQL Server · Non-windows based platforms – MacOS, ChromeOS, Linux Additional Important Information & Offerings: · M-F 8AM – 5PM work schedule; On-site in-office work schedule. · Hourly paid position paid bi-weekly ($58,000/year experience depending). · Occasional local travel; around 25% client on-site work within around a 30 mile radius. · Medical/Dental/Vision, Life, and Disability Insurance. · 401(k) plan w/ employer match. · Paid Time Off (Vacation, Volunteer, Sick, 6 Permanent Holidays and 2 floating Holidays - 20-30 days of PTO total!) · Monthly stipend for Mobile Phone usage. · Paid technical employee training and rewards for desirable certifications. · Very positive, supportive, and family-oriented company culture environment
