Sr.MAC/Linux Help Desk Support Technician Qualifications-
Candidates must live in Seattle Area to support both on-site and virtual support.
Job Description
Applicant will support (in-person, remote and desk side) customers who are Scientist and Engineers in resolving desktop, laptop, and portable computer device problems to include: hardware, software, network accessibility, printer, and other peripheral device issues. Additionally, the applicant will assist in server access, email account configuration and computer security issues at Enterprise Level. .

Duties
Support in-person IT service requests
Provide support for local and remote staff via ticketing software and video conferencing
Maintain application and system configuration documentation by updating standard operating procedures and databases.
Resolve open Trouble Tickets as assigned
Collaborate on and escalate issues with other IT staff.
Administration of desktop and laptop Systems
Provide network printer support
Account Provisioning
Provide multimedia and conference room support
Adhere to government IT policies and procedures
Proficient at installing and troubleshooting hardware and software
Perform testing to pro-actively identify current or pending problems or issues
Other duties as assigned
Required Minimum Education/Experience
Associate degree in a Computer Related Field or 7 years IT Support Experience
Five years Customer IT Support
Familiar with Linux Operating System
Required Certifications
Apple Certified Macintosh Technician (ACMT) Certificate
Three (3) or more years of MAC Help Desk Support
Desired Certifications
MCP, MCSA, MCSE
TIA (or equivalent)
A+
Network +
Security + (or equivalent)
