You Are: A Network Engineer who provides experienced level technical support in Network planning, implementation, and operations. The Work: Provide support for building, configuring, and implementing new facility builds/network. Provide backup support to the Network Team Lead and assist in ensuring all service and operational level agreements are met. The Network Engineer is responsible for the engineering, implementation, operation, troubleshooting, and optimization of the network infrastructure. Working with cable and other network vendors to install and support network infrastructure. Support network upgrades to hardware and software. Eligibility Requirements: Candidates must be U. S. Citizens Here's What You Need: U.S. Citizenship required. 3+ year(s) of expert level experience in LAN technologies (switches, routers, wireless and firewalls) including centralized monitoring and management in large-scale, high availability environments. 3 year(s) of experience working with Juniper SRX firewalls. 3+ year(s) of experience in large scale LAN/WAN switching and routing implementation and operation with specific knowledge of VLAN and VPN technologies. 3+ year(s) of experience in IT infrastructure, TCP/IP, networking and information system security principles, practices, and technologies 3+ year(s) of experience working with core Internet routing protocols and services. 3+ year(s) of experience working with intrusion detection systems and intrusion prevention systems technology. Proven ability to work independently and as a team member in a corporate environment. Excellent communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills. Excellent organization, multi-tasking, status reporting, and time-management skills Strong attention to detail Bonus Points: Familiarity with Federal NIST standards and Guidelines Previous work on US Federal engagements Ability to work well in a team environment as well as independently in addition to providing deep technical skills in the Networking area. Good analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills Ability to identify potential areas of improvement and make recommendations for improvement. Ability to train junior technicians in network technologies. Ability to develop strong professional relationships with fellow team members. Customer service skills Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, New York, or Washington State as set forth below and information on benefits offered is here.
