Accentuate Staffing is recruiting for a Senior Demand Planner for a global manufacturer in RTP, NC. The Demand Planner is responsible for all forecasting activities for all customers and products within the division. The Demand Planner will create and maintain forecast models for their customers, incorporating business intelligence and forecast information gathered from sales, marketing, finance, and other sources. The SR Demand Planner must have experience with Advanced Planning and Optimization and or Oracle ERP and SAP ERP. Responsibilities: Utilize a collaborative and consensus approach by working with Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Operation and Finance to obtain and ensure that current and accurate information is used for demand forecasts. Lead respective regional monthly SIOP Demand Review meetings with Sales & Marketing, reviewing sales forecasts, new programs as well as risk & opportunities. Coordinate cross-functional research activities to reconcile significant variances and refine the forecast model to reflect updated sales and marketing assumptions. Develop demand forecasts (operational forecasts) at multiple levels of aggregation for multiple time horizons as part of a demand planning function. Coordinate cross-functional research activities to reconcile significant variances and refine the forecast model to reflect updated sales and marketing assumptions. Interact with sales, marketing, and customer finance to understand demand forecast drivers. Utilize a collaborative and consensus approach by working with Sales, Marketing and Customer Finance to obtain and ensure that current and accurate information is used for demand forecasts. Review historical sales trends, research demand drivers, prepare forecast data, develop statistical forecast models, and evaluate forecast results. Initiates appropriate communication with Production and Operations Team regarding forecast changes. Make recommended adjustments to forecast and inventory targets based on changes in demand and market trends. Maintain monthly Demand Metrics & Sales Dashboard. Gather, manipulate, and interpret data to create meaningful and accurate reports. Use and maintain all forecast within Oracle forecasting system as well as support & train other users. Requirements: BA/BS College degree or its equivalent Eight plus years of experience as a Demand Planner within a global manufacturing environment Candidate should be able demonstrate knowledge of key Demand Planning concepts, methods & metrics, and the impact of the forecast on the Supply Chain & Finance Strong interpersonal skills are essential to effectively interact with all teams, and levels of business affecting the forecast process Job requires strong analytical, organizational, decision making, and presentation skills Good facilitation skills are required Excellent computer and data mining skills Demonstrated proficiency in statistics, and forecasting methods with an understanding of their financial and operational impacts Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal skills Excellent communication skills with all levels of the organization
