Production Technician - Full-time / Part-time

Additional 1.50 shift differential from 6pm -- 6am

What we need from you:

• High School Diploma or equivalent and 3+ years of related experience.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and perform physical activities (Lift up to 50 lbs. - bending, carrying, pushing, pulling and other activities as needed)
• Stand and walk on concrete for long periods of time in cold and/or hot temperatures throughout the day
• Operate machines safely with minimal supervision and obtain necessary production specifications
• Prefer proficient communication and reasoning skills to pass on information to co-workers and to relay information to and from all employee levels including management and skilled personnel
• Ability to understand simple instructions, training materials, product labeling and basic math functions
• Ability to work as a team and interact professionally with co-workers

Responsibilities:

• This position is responsible for safe operation of multiple manufacturing machines ranging from moderately complex to more difficult complexity including automation and is responsible for sanitation of equipment and minor maintenance.
• Responsible for set up and pre-running of the equipment to ensure proper production startup
• Control of line speeds, batch formula, production rates, starting and stopping equipment, and overall product elegance and safety
• Responsible for maintenance repairs and preventative maintenance of all equipment and assisting maintenance in keeping all equipment and facility in good repair and regularly serviced
• Responsible for various quality checks and completes all required inputs (for example: downtime HACCP etc. utilizing SAP SOPs Safety operation training as appropriate)
• Responsible for disassembling, disconnecting, cleaning, operating, and reassembling and reconnecting lines and equipment
• Responsible for cleaning, inspection, and lubrication of equipment during long production runs
