1st shift, CNC programmer/Operator $65-70k (Campobello) RM

(MUST HAVE CNC PROGRAMMING EXPERIENCE to be considered)

We are looking for a mechanically inclined person (strong tape measure skills) with proven CNC machinist experience and the ability to program and set up.

A great can-do attitude. Reliable.

Excellent schedule - Mon-Fri (rarely asked to work on a weekend - only if emergency).

• Operates CNC routing machine to cut parts.
• Load and unload items from tools and support equipment and place them onto equipment for processing.
• Stop damaged or ineffective equipment from processing.
• Reads blueprints or other engineering drawings.
• Verify conformance of workpieces to specifications, using squares, rulers, and measuring tapes.
• Report defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor.
• Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations.
• Completes tasks as directed by manufacturing schedules with minimum supervision
• Performs related duties as needed by supervision.
• Must pass a background check
• Must pass a drug screen
• Must have a valid Driver's License
• Must have your own reliable transportation
• Must have strong work history in CNC work

Salary: 65-70K to start

Duties
- Develop and write programs for CNC machines based on engineering blueprints and specifications.
- Set up and operate CNC machines to produce precision parts.
- Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments to ensure quality and efficiency.
- Collaborate with engineers and production team to optimize machining processes.
- Perform routine maintenance on CNC machines to ensure proper functioning.

Experience
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a CNC Programmer.
- Proficient in operating and programming press brake machines, milling machines, and other machining equipment.
- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of tooling and blueprints.
- Familiarity with logic controllers and basic math calculations.
- Ability to use calipers and other measuring instruments to ensure accuracy of machined parts.
- Experience with welding is a plus.
