Construction and/or Concrete General Laborer

Neuhaus Construction and Concrete, Inc. has an immediate need to hire a Construction and Concrete General Laborer in a full-time capacity. This position is based in Manchester, IA.

The Concrete Laborer will perform many tasks that require physical labor on construction sites. May operate hand and power tools of all types. May clean and prepare sites, set forms, erect scaffolding, and flatwork. Experience is a plus however, on-the-job training is provided.

Essential Job Functions:

• Assist in building and positioning forms for pouring concrete and dismantles forms after use, using saws, hammers, nails, bolts or form hardware
• Assist in pour concrete walls and flatwork
• Dig ditches and levels earth to grade specifications
• Grade dirt and concrete efficiently and accurately
• Clean construction site to eliminate possible hazards
• Assist to align, straighten, plumb and square forms for installation
• Load and unload trucks and haul and hoist materials
• Care, clean, and organize form material in shop, in truck and at a job site
• Employee is required to regularly lift, carry, push, and pull materials and tools up to 100 lbs.
• Other duties as assigned
