The Role
The facilities tech is a member of the facilities team and reports to the facilities manager. This position is a full-time, multi-function role involving maintenance, construction, janitorial, and food safety support. Working hours are from 6:00 AM to 2:30 Monday through Friday, or as noted, with possible on-call assignments.
Qualifications:
1-2 years of previous maintenance or facilities experience is preferred but not required
Respond to high priority maintenance tasks within 1 hr of notification.
Respond immediately to Food Safety issues and resolve according to prescribed Food Safety Procedures
Update Maintenance tracking system (Upkeep) Daily. Close out tickets upon completion.
Account for tools used on a daily basis and return to the tool locker when done for the day.
Reliable and adaptable
Ability to lift up to 50lbs
Ability to use basic math and measurements
Ability to multi-task and stay focused
Able to work effectively on a team
Able to work unsupervised and autonomously
Must be familiar with tools and machinery
Effective communication skills
Must be comfortable working in extreme weather and indoor climate conditions
Close attention to detail and the ability to create and maintain records on a daily basis
Ability to communicate verbally and in writing in English
