Medical Billing Accounts Receivable Specialtist

Island Healthcare Solutions is a comprehensive billing, coding and consulting service focused on hospital-based physician and outpatient medical practice facilities.
We are seeking to fill a full time accounts receivable specialist position.  This position requires attention to detail, ability to problem solve and work independently.  Our ideal candidate has at least one year of experience working accounts receivables, medical billing knowledge and great customer service skills.
Duties include: 
  Manage Denials:  Identify the root cause for claim denials, correct and refile
  Timely Follow Up:  Keeping records and a schedule to ensure all claims are worked and paid in a timely fashion.
  Periodic Audit/Reports:  These reports include AR aging reports, credit balance reports, etc.

  Experience:  Medical Office (1year) Required
                        Medical Billing (1year) Preferred
