Shockwave Therapist / Clinical Procedure Assistant

Job Description:

• Administering Shockwave therapy under the supervision of medical staff that REQUIRES advanced understanding of musculoskeletal anatomy.
• Processing Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) for treatments as directed by medical professionals
• Draw patients blood for procedures
• Cleaning and sanitizing rooms after procedures to maintain a safe and hygienic environment
• Assisting with office laundry to ensure cleanliness and organization.
• Assisting with injections and other medical procedures under the guidance of doctor
• Handling medical documentation and ensuring accurate record-keeping in compliance with regulatory standards
• Collaborating with other team members to achieve overall clinic objectives and provide exceptional patient care
• Help support staff as needed (i.e., appointment scheduling, collect payments, answer phone calls, etc.)
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, other employees

Qualifications:

• PREFERRED: Phlebotomist certification
• PREFERRED: Knowledge of regenerative medicine
• REQUIRED: Strong understanding of musculoskeletal anatomy and knowledge similar to a bodyworker (Examples: Exercise Physiologist, Athletic Trainer, Massage Therapist, Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist)
• REQUIRED: 1 year experience in the field of health and wellness
• Willingness to cross train and learn new skills such as administering shockwave and phlebotomy
• Excellent organization skills
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Proficiency in basic computer skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability to accommodate evolving needs and responsibilities
• Ability to take photos using a smartphone to share on social media platforms preferred

Preferred Certifications:

• Athletic trainer
• Massage Therapist
• Phlebotomy

Minimum Physical Capabilities:

• Stand for long periods of time (4 + hours)
• Unrestricted standing and waling
• Ability to push and pull objects
