Staff Accountant

Responsibilities

·        Oversee and Manage month end close process in collaboration with our partner organization.

·        Work closely with the Practice’s accounting team to ensure proper accounting, revenue recognition and financial reporting.

·        Ensure Financial records are maintained in accordance with GAAP.

·        Work closely with the Accounting and Finance team in preparing and reviewing ad-hoc internal and external financial reporting and analysis.

·        Ensure timely preparation and review of month-end balance sheet reconciliations, consolidation activities and financial reporting.

·        Coordinate external accounting needs, working closely with independent accounting and tax firms.

·        Identify areas of process improvement, recommend changes, and execute improvements.

·        Additional responsibilities as deemed necessary.

Qualifications

·        Accounting Degree

·        1-4 years of accounting experience

·        Experience with workday or another ERP platform is a plus.

·        Experience in healthcare is preferred but not required.

·        Proven knowledge of GAAP, FASB

·        Strong excel skills.
