Job Description
FTS is seeking an Aluminum Extrusions operator in Gulfport, MS.
Assists in the production of aluminum extrusions by performing the following duties:
- Off-Loading Metal at Finishing Saw
- Assists and follows instructions of Operator ‘B’
- Performs any task assigned by Supervisor
- Follows safe work procedures

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Less than high school education; or up to one month related experience or training.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to other employees of the organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract numerically.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Must pass oral, written, physical forklift operator training to obtain license.

Rotating Shifts – Monday - Saturday, Three (3) shifts, 7-3, 3-11, and 11-7, which rotate every two weeks in Extrusion. Shift differential
Daily overtime

- Must read a tape measure accurately and be able to perform simple math (a test will be given)
- Must pass basic math test.
