The Shipping and Receiving Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of shipping, receiving, and inventory management to ensure all work is performed safety and efficiently. Responsible for the overall day to day floor operation and office processes in order to meet all customer needs in a timely manner.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Ensure all employees are working in a safe manner and have the necessary tools and resources to perform their jobs safely

- Manage all Carriers and shipments to ensure deliveries are made on-time to the customer

- Responsible for scheduling all department hour, working overtime as necessary to meet customer expectations

- Close coordination with production and quality departments to ensure On-Time in Full deliveries

- Management of dock doors and equipment to result in the safest, most efficient flow into and out of the facility

- Manage the Inventory for the warehouse and ensuring high inventory accuracy

- Conduct warehousing operations in support of the facility’s GMP program

- Create, implement and audit Standard Operating procedures in line with ISO 9000/14000 standards

- Weekly management of employee timecards and pay corrections when needed

SKILLS AND CERTIFICATIONS [note: bold skills and certification are required]

· Ability to obtain IATA, DG and other required certifications for the shipment of goods.

· Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

· Ability to manage employees in a professional manner.

· Excellent interpersonal skills to work closely with other facilities around the world.

· Attentive to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.

· Works effectively with others in a team based environment to accomplish organizational goals

· Experience identifying potential problems and offering alternative solutions

· Meeting deadlines within budget

· Having a continuous quality improvement mind set

· SAP Business processing system experience (preferred)

· International Shipment Experience (Preferred)

Management Experience Required – No // Minimum Education - Bachelor's Degree
