VP of Business Development & Program/Project Management

Primary Responsibilities Business Development:

• Search and develop business from existing and new customers which will generate growth in revenue, margin and align with our strategic capability and capacity plans
• Be one of the primary (senior) representatives of Anchor Fabrication during customer visits (in house and at customer locations or events) and initially develop/manage the relationship during on-boarding until the program can be handed off to a designated Demand Planning/Customer Service Representative (CSR) who will ultimately manage the day to day account activity
• Lead and coordinate the weekly Business Development Order Book and Estimating Queue status meeting with all internal stakeholders.  Present and track firm order revenue, expected order revenue and blue sky revenue forecast by month looking ahead 12 months
• Attend all appropriate internal meetings with other stakeholders such as Sales & Operations Planning, New Product Introduction, Daily Value Stream 1 & 2 (The Morning Meeting)
• Research and follow market trends while working to build sales in the target markets and communicate this information throughout the organization
• Track and report on customer satisfaction levels
• Develop and implement customer retention and growth strategies

Program/Project Management

• Acting in coordination with Demand Planning/Customer Service Representatives as primary contact/liaison for certain key customers and potential customers who may warrant a level of communication over and above the normal day to day RFQ, PO placement and order status
• Take the lead internally with key program/project launches, rate ramp-ups or recovery plans
• Coordinate internally with Estimating and Purchasing to ensure the quarterly pricing adjustments are kept in line with costs to maintain margins

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in business, marketing or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in Customer Service or a related field
• Strong interpersonal & communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Some travel will be required.  Must be able to travel domestically on commercial airlines
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience with CRM software is a plus
