Finishing Technician

Our growing medical device manufacturing company has need for a Finishing Technician.

The finishing technician will be responsible for finishing all types of fixed orthodontic appliances according to doctor’s prescriptions. This role is 100% hands on and requires a dedication to excellence and craftsmanship.

This position will require overtime hours in times of increased workload.

This is a contract to hire opportunity. Monday – Friday 7am-3:30pm, $20.00 an hour

Finishing Technician responsibilities

· Electro-polish fixed appliances

· Pumice and Polish removeable appliances

· Work with electro-polishing machine, stream machine, handheld and bench grinding machine

· Keep records of production quantities and time

· Work in a stationary position for several hours at a time

· Work in a standing position for several hours at a time

· Use hands and fingers to manipulate materials for several hours at a time

· Exhibit great hand-eye coordination

Must be able to operate, activate, use, prepare, inspect, place, detect and position self to constantly operate high velocity machines that involve electro-polisher, steam, grinding, buffing, polishing and vibration.
