Data Center Construction Worker

CONSTRUCTION DATA CENTER TECHNICIAN

The primary responsibility of the Construction Data Center Technician is to support the installation of infrastructure; construction of racks, cabinets, cage walls, and ladder racks, structured cabling, etc.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Proficient in cutting, filing, bolting, hanging building with strut to support various systems in a data center environment.
• Knowledge of basic tools and construction practices.
• Perform data center structure installations (ladder rack and basket tray) in accordance with industry standards.
• Ability to mark and cut KoldLok floor tiles.
• Proficient in receiving, moving, unpacking, and placing data center cabinets, bolting them together, and mounting them in various structural methods (mounted strut, building slab).
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds on a regular basis.
• Ability to pay close attention to detail and make sound decisions.
• Knowledge of terminating all types of copper and fiber communication cables.
• Other duties, responsibilities and qualifications may be required and/or assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum of 5+ years' of relevant job experience.
• Ability to work independently without supervision.

Work schedule: 8 hour shift. Weekday, Weekends and Evening as needed.

Salary: $27.00 - $32.00 per hour based on experience; negotiable
