Sports Field Sales Representative

We are seeking a dynamic and driven Sports Field Sales Representative with 1-2 years of experience in sales, preferably within the sports construction industry. The ideal candidate will also have a background as an athlete, possessing a deep understanding of the needs and challenges faced by sports facilities and organizations.

As a Sports Field Sales Representative, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with customers in the Ohio area, including athletic directors, facility managers, coaches, and procurement professionals. You will leverage your expertise and industry knowledge to identify opportunities for our products and services, ultimately driving sales growth and exceeding revenue targets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute strategic sales plans to achieve sales targets and expand market presence in the Ohio area.
• Cultivate relationships with existing customers and proactively seek out new business opportunities through networking, cold calling, and lead generation activities.
• Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, project estimating, operations, and customer support, to ensure customer needs are met and inquiries are addressed in a timely manner.
• Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to identify areas for differentiation and competitive advantage.
• Prepare accurate sales forecasts, reports, and analyses to track performance and provide insights for decision-making.
• Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and industry events to promote our brand and establish thought leadership in the sports field equipment market.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sports Management, Communications, or a related field preferred
• 1-2 years of experience in sales, preferably in sports construction or related industry.
• Background as an athlete with a passion for sports and outdoor activities.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software (e.g., Hubspot).
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the Ohio area as needed
