We are a marketing and distribution company for automotive parts and are the leading supplier of CV Axles to the Automotive Aftermarket in North America. We also offer a broad coverage of Window Regulators, Drive Shafts, and ATV Axles. We sell to Warehouse Distributors and mass retailers throughout North America and are a rapidly growing company poised for continued growth.

JOB SUMMARY:

This position is directly responsible for the management of the U.S. catalog team, creation, maintenance, accuracy, and distribution of catalog data and digital assets including both conventional “flat” images as well as 360-degree interactive images. This position is also a collaborative contributor to our Global Data Team.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Maintain a detailed up-to-date, and thorough knowledge of product catalog data including but not limited to:
    1. Detailed automotive application information
    2. Catalog conflicts and holes resolution
    3. Product images and digital assets best practices
    4. Current industry catalog standards and versions
      1. Aces & Pies Required,
      2. TecDoc familiarity preferred.
    5. Up-to-date data and image standards and delivery guidelines best practices of industry and data partners
  2. Create catalog data for new products from application data from product development team.
  3. Receive, research, and respond to internal team concerns regarding catalog application data, coordinating with product management team.
  4. Be responsive and proactive in managing requests and inquiries from internal management, sales team, and customers. Review and address customer inquiries in a timely manner.
  5. Oversee Catalog improvement projects to improve utilization and adoption of PADB, QDB, and other rich content and data enhancements.
  6. Ensure on-time delivery of catalog data updates in proper format with correct notation to customers.
  7. Administrate product images (conventional and 360 degree)

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Supervise catalog team of 2-5 people remotely or on site.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • 5 Years catalog related experience (mapping, distribution, management, validation, research, etc.)
  • Must be knowledgeable regarding automobile makes, models, submodels, drive types, engine sizes, transmission types, and other catalog attributes.
  • AutoCare catalog standard knowledge (Aces, Pies, including related tables QADB, PADB, etc).
  • Must be able to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Experience in auto industry catalog software.

QUALIFICATIONS PREFERRED:

  • ACP accreditation (Automotive Content Professional) from Northwood University
  • Bachelor’s degree related to data or technical sciences.
  • Automotive aftermarket catalog administration experience
  • JNP (PARTCAT) experience and proficiency
  • TechAlliance TecDoc experience
  • Experience administrating 360-degree product images.
  • Attendance of at least 1 ACPN conference
  • Supervisory experience

TRAVEL REQUIREMENT:

  • Willingness to travel nationally for team management, customer support, and industry training.
  • Weekends and evenings as needed for job related travel and special training or projects.
