Outpatient Therapist

Responsibilities:
- Conduct individual, family, and group counseling sessions with clients
- Perform diagnostic evaluations to assess clients' mental health needs
- Maintain accurate and thorough medical documentation of client sessions and progress
- Offer mental health counseling to individuals experiencing a range of conditions and disorders
- Familiarity with ICD-9 coding for accurate diagnosis and billing purposes
- Provide crisis intervention services as needed
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals in a hospital or outpatient setting
- Develop and implement effective treatment plans tailored to the needs of clients.

Requirements:
- Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, or related field
- Valid state licensure as an LPC, LCSW, or LMFT
- Experience in individual and group counseling techniques
- Knowledge of diagnostic evaluation methods and assessment tools
- Strong documentation skills for maintaining accurate medical records
- Ability to provide mental health counseling across a wide range of conditions and disorders
- Understanding of ICD-9 coding for accurate diagnosis and billing purposes
- Ability to effectively intervene in crisis situations
- Experience working in an outpatient setting is preferred

This position offers the opportunity to join an outpatient therapy group that is contracted with multiple Managed Care Organization (MCO) panels, have your own fully furnished office space for conducting sessions, and the autonomy to manage your schedule.
