Summary of Position:

We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer to join our team! This is a unique opportunity to work on an exciting project that is very rewarding. In this role, you will provide onsite ETL development support for a geospatial visualization platform. The subcontractor shall monitor and maintain the flow of data into the customer’s PostgreSQL database in addition to developing custom ETL solutions.

Job Specifications/Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, International Relations, Mathematics, Statistics, Political Science, or related field.
2. Experience programmatically manipulating data.
3. Experience with seamless data integration with all aspects of the application
4. Experience working with Apache NiFi to develop new ETL flows.
5. PostgreSQL and SQL experience
6. Knowledge of ETL concepts and best practices
7. Experience working with geospatial data.
8. Ability to work closely with team members to gather data requirements.
