Software Developer Intern (Mobile Applications)

**This internship will begin in June 2024 and will be for a duration of 9 week.

Job Summary:

This role will be responsible for supporting the design and development of mobile (iOS and Android) applications. You will work with senior software engineering staff to explore and research modern mobile development technologies and architectures to implement proof of concept mobile applications and integrated solutions to be used in future product development.

Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Continuously discover, evaluate and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
• Develop, prototype, and/nor update the design and build advanced applications and features for both Android and iOS platforms.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design and potentially ship new features.
• Support the design of interfaces, navigation, flows for consumer mobile (iOS, Android).
• Works closely with product managers, mobile and backend developers to implement and evolve the user experience.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Requirements:

• Must have completed at least 2 years of a 4-year bachelor’s degree in Computer Science.
• Fundamentals in object-oriented design, data structures, algorithm design, problem solving and complexity analysis.
• Must have working knowledge or class experienced with native iOS or Android aaplication development.
• Cross platform knowledge or experience with React or Flutter, is ideal.
• Some understanding of mobile systems development methods, technologies, tools and architecture (e.g. interfaces with with RESTful web services, etc.).
• Ability to learn quickly in a very fast-paced environment as part of a team.
• Highly motivated and dependable with exceptional communication skills.
