Web Developer

McLean, VA. Active TS/SCI with Polygraph is required.

Cohere is seeking a Senior Web Developer to support our client with design, creation, deployment, and maintenance of multiple web sites supporting the Intelligence Community. You will also be establishing and maintaining an effective and collaborative relationship with customers, end users, and other team members.

What You’ll Get to Do:

  • Create design develop and maintain a broad range of digital media products (EG, Interactive animations, web pages/sites, narrated visuals with video content and mobile products) to present and clarify complex subject matter to diverse audiences, including key stakeholders.
  • Apply experience and techniques to design interactive multimedia products.
  • Develop SharePoint from OOTB to custom applications and UX/UI (2010, 2013, 2016, 2019, Online, O365) by maintaining large lists and libraries, permissions and site structures, custom workflows, and Microsoft best practices.
  • Develop and integrate multiple data sources to provide customized Dashboards for senior management and government clients.

You Will Bring These Qualifications:

  • Active TS/SCI with Polygraph is required.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferably in an IT related field 6 years of related experience; or a Masters with 4 years of experience; an Associates with 8 years of experience.
  • Experience with SharePoint and UX/UI development, SharePoint Designer, InfoPath, SSRS Report Designer
  • Knowledge of the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Framework, high availability, and enterprise infrastructure.
  • Programming languages and scripting methods including Python, PHP, Java, Bash, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
  • Experience creating secure applications systems utilizing IC or DoD security guidelines.
  • Experience utilizing DEVOPs tools such as a version control system (Github preferred, Subversion OK)
  • Software testing, documentation, and training
  • Experience with InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Creative Suite/Creative Cloud, and Photoshop.
  • Knowledge of PHP applications (WordPress, Joomla, and Drupal)
  • Knowledge of 508 and Agile methodologies
  • Strong writing skills and extensive experience writing at the collegiate level.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Experience with communications and web development activities.

Experience managing content delivery via social media platforms.
